Valve Stem Seals V70-XC70

As the other post implies if there's not much oil consumption maybe the problem isn't really significant.

Also is the smoke possibly bluish-white or grey-blue, not just white? Does the exhaust or the engine itself smell of oil? These would be associated with oil burning or an internal problem with engine - if white maybe it's water vapor or coolant?

I understood that in the US (maybe not elsewhere in our world) the entire cylinder head was normally replaced for any defect like valve seals.
