Moonroof problem - or is my V70 possessed? V70-XC70 2004

My 2004 V70 is doing very strange things... and now the moonroof is stuck in the popped up position.

First when my wife has her cell phone one she can tell when a call is coming in because there is some static on the radio right before the phone rings. Whenever her cell phone is on there is occasionally some static on the sound system...even when it the sound system is off.

A few weeks ago I was locking the car with the key fob and the moonroof popped up.

Then today, she called me on her cell phone and the moonroof fully opened. It would not close. Then she drove some more and the moonroof closed to the popped up position and then popped down and up a few times and now is totally stuck in the popped up position.

I checked the fuse for the moonroof and even swapped it with another one but it still is not working.

Tomorrow I expect to take it to the dealer and ask them to diagnose it. If it is a lot of money I will have them close it and then I will remove the fuse...we rarely open the moonroof anyway as we live in western washington state. But I am curious if there is anything less expensive that I could quickly check.

Garth
