aluminum wheel corrosion preventative? (inside bead) 850 1995

I have had this problem for as long as I have owned this car and wondered if anyone can give me a solution. It has to do with my 1995 850 GLT's wagon wheel style aluminum wheels. It seems there is a constant issue with moisture getting inside the mounted tire and causing corrosion along the bead. The result is a tire that loses air pressure on a regular basis. One shop put some kind of goop along the bead on the inside of the wheel and that worked for awhile until I had new tires mounted and a different shop told me that my former tire guy put goop all along the wheel bead. He of course cleand it up and hence my trouble is back. Can't afford to just dump these original wheels for new ones so is there any solution?
