Driver's Seat adjustment V70-XC70 2001

After I unloaded the bass from my V70 at the front door of the church this
morning I asked my wife to park the car. I started to move the driver's seat
back to point of disappearing pedals in the distance (she's a long-legged Swede)
and much to my surprise the driver's seat did not respond to any of the movement
controls including the numbered ones. The passenger seat moves OK. This sort
of blows my first thought that maybe backing the seat up too far blew the fuse.
(I figure if a fuse was blown neither seat would move....)
Anybody have any thoughts on this? I suspect a new seat control unit might be
pretty pricey.
Any thoughts on this will be most gratefully appreciated!
Hope y'all have a GREAT and BLESSED New Year!
