Odometer 850 1995

Pretty sweet didn't know the computer stored this info. when I picked this 855 up in April the CarFax had gigged the car from back in 2001 of not having "Actual Milage" recorded. Assumed it had the gear failure back then and replaced since when I picked up it was working.... Car Clean, all maintenance and the right price so I didn't care....

So, Klaus now that you "armed" me with this Knowledge, I grabbed one of my co-workers and off we go to see what I had.....

Well the odometer broke about May @ 144K, I put about 1200 / month or 8400 or my total should be 152400

After we hit the DTC my answer = 157753...... Not bad for a 1995....

What if; the battery is pulled is the info stored? What about a computer module change?

Also, given i know the correct #'s, can I change the digits on the actual odometer?

rgrds,

Kevin
