Airbag maintenance V70-XC70 2001

The dealer plugs in his scanner and verifies all of the electrical connections are there and no codes are present in the airbag module. Done.

Physically there is little to check, the plugs are gold so they don't rust. The bags cannot be removed and repacked. I suspect Volvo only has a 10 year time limit to help with any liability problems, and the air bags are at least good for 20+ years.
