Door Locking problem V70-XC70 1998

Can you then pull up the knob and have the door unlocked? Does it then lock when the driver's door is locked? If so, it is probably just a pin that is out of alignment. You will have to remove the panel to find the loose part.

Welcome back. Tell your kids not to pull on the handle while the car is being unlocked, it will break the lock mechanism and be a costly fix.
