automatic tranny fluid- volvo fluid or something less expensive? V70-XC70 2000

automatic tranny fluid - must I use volvo brand fluid? if not, what else works for a 2000 v70 xc? i would like to do a flush, but dealer quoted close to $300 for 15
quarts of fluid. a bit steep.
