what parts to fix the blower fan components 850 1994

1994 850 turbo with climate control.

The fan was not working after car had been sitting for a while.
turned fan switch on manually...nothing, both lights (rec & ac)are blinking.

checked fuses....all good.
pulled blower unit. Bench tested good. (it squawks awfully bad, will be ordering a new unit)

What else should should I order to fix the problem? resistor? relay? switch unit?

Can fix just about anything on a 240, but am realatively new to the 850 model.

Thanks for the help,
Ryan
