V70 stumble, miss, stall. Code P2404 V70-XC70 2004

My V70R had some issues coming home today. While on the highway, it stumbled, missed and died. I pulled over, and started it back up. I was able to drive it home, but it continued to stumble and miss.

Got home and pulled codes P2404 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Sense Circuit Range/Performance, and three codes indicating missing on various cylinders. The check engine light did come on.

I previously(couple months ago) pulled an evaporative system code/CEL that was corrected by tightening down the gas cap. The gasket has some small radial cracks in it, and I intend on replacing it.

I want to rule out the simple at this point, so...

My questions:

Will a gas cap/filler leak cause a full stall like this?
Will bad gas cause a full stall?
