Limp Home Mode I Think V70-XC70 2000

That little filter is the line that goes from the charcoal cannister to the manifold. It better not have any fuel in it.
You could be right about the regular fuel filter, though. It could be restricting the fuel from the tank. That filter is exposed just infront of the driver;s side rear wheel and easy to replace.
If the fuel pump didn't work, your car wouldn't idle either.
