ABS module, FIXED! S80 1999

Ok, here is what I did. And yes, maybe I removed it and jumped the gun asking for help, but oh well, it all worked out. When you get the module out of the car the hard part if truly in front of you. The most difficult part of this whole task was removing the circuit board from the rest of the module. The top of this thing just doesnt' want to come off. I'm certain Victor knows a simple way, but here if what I did. I took the old dremel tool and cut the locking rings from the screw holes. Then I pried off the top of the module. Bear in mind, this is no easy task for a first timer and it looked pretty bad at first. However, once I remove it, there in front of me was the itty bitty problem causing all the issues. The post on the circuit board that is one of the power posts definately had a bad solder or it was just worn away. Nevertheless, I soldered that post back to the circuit board and upon inspection did not see any other breaks in any other spots. I put everything back together along with some silicone and put it back in the car. I fired up the car and most of the items on my dash were gone! The only two things left were the ABS and check engine lights. I pulled the car out of the garage and before I could get too far up my street the ABS light went out and the only thing left is the check engine light! Got up this morning, turned the car on and voila! The only light on is the check engine light. NO ABS, no nothing! If anyone knows the proper procedure for turning off the check engine light, please let me know! Good luck!
