Oil leak: Filler cap is original: Replace or check for leak 850

I have replaced the oil trap which solved my oil leak problem for few months but about 4 months later, again, I have to put 1 quart after every 400 miles. The filler cap may be leaking. Should I replace that first or should I check for other leak? What if, after replacing filler cap, oil pressure gets worse due to other clogged up area and it gets worse? I see oil and dirt at the lower part of the timing belt cover. Can the oil trap be clogged again?

Is filler cap from Pep Boys OK?

Thanks.
