Small Radiator Leak 850 1993

Hello again lads. Well, I've got radiator leak. It's a small crack in the plastic tank on the passenger side near the top. I've never over heated or even
ran hot. I guess it's just getting old. Anyhow, does anyone recommend putting in some type of stop leak additive? While inquiring about a radiator, I had a fellow suggest putting a tablespoon of pepper in the overflow tank. Anyone heard of this remedy?

Will adding a stop leak compound cause problems in the 850 cooling system? Or should I just take my medicine and get a new radiator. Thanks.
