My check engine light has been coming on and then going off.
It comes on after I fill the tank and goes off after it gets down past half empty.
Sounds like a loose or defective gas cap, right?
I had the cap checked and it is OK
I went over Monarch pass 12,000 feet and noticed that the light went off and stayed off until I came back over the pass back down to my normal altitude.
If it isn't the gas cap what is it???
