Paint or sell? Need advice. 850 1997

My 850 T5 Wagon has really bad paint fade on good and roof. How much can I expect to pay for a decent paint job in L.A.? Is it a bad idea to paint it and better to unload now?

It has 110K on it and runs great/ in good mech shape. I have been waiting to buy a new car until I see better alt fuel options (PRIUS is hideous, ethanol is BS and other bio-fuel now may not be a true alternative, per recent revelations).

Any advice will be much appreciated!!
