!0% ethanol in my gas, is it ruining my engine? 850 1995

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion out there regarding ethanol added gasoline and our Volvo engines. I just read an article referring to the addition of ethanol to our fuels and that it is a big hoax. It also stated that
"Ethanol contains water that distillation cannot remove. As such, it can cause major damage to automobile engines not specifically designed to burn ethanol."

If this is true, then am I damaging my engine every time I fill up with the only option I seem to have (10% ethanol added) and is there a product that can stop further damage?
