Car creeps forward at idle 850

Can anyone tell me how much the car is supposed to creep forwards when in "drive" with engine at idle, on a flat surface? Mine does appreciably, not a big problem but it must be causing unnecessary brake wear. At 30km on a smooth flat road it will continue at the same speed with foot off the pedal. The idle is smooth and steady on 1,000 rpm
