Changing spark plugs V70-XC70 2000

If you feel comfortable changing spark plugs on other engines/cars, then the plugs on your V70 are not too much more difficult. You must remove the cover with a torqs bit, unplug the coil packs(do one at a time), pull the coil pack off, and use a plug socket on an extention to remove the plug. put a new plug in and torque it to the specified torque, replace coil pack and reconnect it....and proceed to the next one. And make sure that nothing drops down into the spark plug hole

The price you have been quoted is not all that high(especially if it's a Volvo Dealer), considering a set of 5 Volvo plugs at the dealer would run about 50 bucks.
