What part is this? 850 1994

Yes, lambda light on and codes 231 and 143. I'll clear them and check it again.

If it should open only once (and then close, i presume) then I shouldn't be hearing it clicking at idle (opening and closing), right? I'll try to block the connection on the inlet mainfold to see if the black smoke disappears.
On the other hand does the electrical feed to the evap have something in common with the alarm system? Some ground or 12v points that could lead to the reiceiver on the alarm to loose its range?
