Klaus is pretty right on with the price quote. Depending upon the shop's hourly rate you can figure on about $1,000.00 in labor, give or take a little, and the trans itself will set you back around $1800.00-$2400.00 depending upon where you get it and whether you have yours rebuilt or if you get a factory unit. Another option that you might want to consider is to get a used trans get as late a model of trans as you can get and save yourself $1000.00 or so.
