Sons Car started but saga continues 850 1995

More than likely, previous owner knew it was going bad. But, then again, perhaps not.
The valve is either stuck open or burned to a crisp. It is not cheap to fix, but once fixed will be good for a long while. There are 20 valves, and I suggest you get new guides for all 20.
Actually $1100 is not a bad price, half is the labor to get it back in properly.
