AC compressor not working - where else to look 850 1996

Jay,

Tell us more about the car and the climate control unit.

Is the car a turbo or an N/A? Believe it or not it makes a difference.

Is the climate control electronic or manual? The way to tell is if the temperature readings are labeled in degrees (electronic)or with graduated width red bars (Manual). If it says AUT anywhere on the face plate it will confirm that it is an electronic version.

Your problem almost sounds like a clutch shim problem but I need more information.

...Lee
