AC compressor not working - where else to look 850 1996

I missed that part in the original post. +1 on the switch itself. Remove the radio (You do have your code don't you?) and reach up behind the control head, with the A/C switch on, squeeze the switch. If everything comes to life that is your problem.

The part number is 6802442 I think my local stealership charged me around $95.00 for it.

Here is a link if you want to try to fix the switch yourself. I fixed mine and it held up another 8 months or so before it broke again and I just replaced it with the new one.
