Hard Start after Changing Fuel Filter S70 1998

I changed my fuel filter Sunday, and now the car has been a very hard start this week - around 12-15 cranks before it catches. I've read in other posts to prime it by turning the key to run a four or five times, and when I do that, it will start easier, but only for that start. It will be tough again next time. And warm starts are only slightly better than cold starts. Once it's started, it runs fine.

As far as I can tell, I got the connectors back on as far as they were before, if not farther. I can't think of anything else that would have brought this on. Other info - mileage is 116,000 and CEL is not on.

Is it fuel pump? Why would it only show up after I changed the filter? I'm out of ideas, so any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt
