I will need to ask the mechanic working on the car now if he has done those things.

I'm sorry I fogot to mention that the engine doesn't make any unusual sounds such knocking, rattling or scrapping. It actually runs pretty smooth.

Actually, my mechanic asked me to talk with the dealer to see if they did an "oil pick-up update". They did not and I left a voice message for the mechanic but have not gotten a reply yet. Can you tell me what this is about?
