ScanTech timing belt 850

I have never even seen a ScanTech timing belt so I don't know what to tell you. If it was German it was likely a re-packaged Continental belt and you should be fine.

I run Continental belts on two of the three Volvos and my daughter's Porsche as well. I had to put a Gates belt on the new 850 yesterday as it was all I could find locally and it was way overdue for a change. I plan on changing out the rollers and tensioner in a few months and at that time I will switch it to a Conti belt as well.
