what's the right level for coolant? S60 2002

I took my S60 T5 in for 75K service about 3 weeks ago. This afternoon, when I got in my car to head home after work, the Coolant Low light came on. I turned the car off, then on again and the light didn't come on BUT I checked the coolant level. It's about a half inch above the minimum line, does this sound right? I'm thinking that my dealer didn't do the job right, and didn't top off. Should fluid level be intermediate between max and min?
Thanks!
