Oxygen sensor question (again?) S40-V40 2000

I have a 2000 S40. The check engine diagnostic said it was the Bank one O2 sensor. After pricing the sensor locally, I ended up buying one online. My problem is I didn't look before buying, and I have no idea which sensor is the bank one sensor. The first plug (gray) takes me to the lower sensor. The second plug (black) takes me to the upper (and easier to change) sensor. I know now I should've bought two, but since I didn't, and don't want to wait for another to arrive, can anyone tell me which is the bank one sensor? Thanks for any help.
