Transmission Problems 850 1995

According to the mode 1 notes on A1 it say 'Wrong Gear Value'. What does that actually mean?

I was told that possibly that the chassis computer might be faulty and was suggested that I change that to see if all these codes come back. How should I go about doing that?

If all the codes come back then what?

When I clear all the codes (reset everything) the inside dash is not lite up like a candle. After about 10 minutes the Tracs and ABS come on then the Check Engine and then the flashing up arrow. After this happens the car will not shift properly at all. It will skip 1st, 2nd and run directly in 3rd only. How to correct this?

Help!
