Highway stalling and hard starting 850

Just 2 days ago My 1993 850 GL stalled on the highway for the 2nd time. I was able to start it right up again both times. I've taken it to 2 shops; it's now at a third (a volvo specialist who is reputable). He says he needs it to "act up" because when he hooked the car up to diagnostic equipment, everything was OK.

The other problem is that sometimes it's hard to start. After several attempts it finally does. This does not happen all the time but is occurring more frequently.

The car has 162,000 miles. Is it time to get another car or should I fix it? I bought it used at 87,000 miles in 1999. I'm the 2nd owner. What should I do?
