Intermittent a/c V70-XC70 2001

Ok, my 01 V70 A/C has been doing this as well.It used to be every few months, but starting this week it's 4 or 5 times a car trip. I do turn it off 5 mins. and it works. Where is the evaporator valve? At the coil or in the engine bay? Any other places to check are also appreciated. Refigerant level seems fine, was thinking something freezing up, a restriction (unlikely, a relay, or clutch. Any and all suggestions appreciated, thanks! -Gene
