1994 850 Turbo tires replacement 850

I need some help to replace my 1994 850 turbo tires.A few years ago, Volvo had a recall and replaced for free the low profile tires with another set of Michelin tires. Now that I would like to change those tires, Costco would not replace them because they are not the same description as the ones listed on the gas cap sticker. Presumably, they are concerned about liability issues.

Is there anywhere some documentation that I can get to convince them that it's OK? They wouldn't take my word for it and need apparently something written from Volvo.
Anybody had that problem? Please help. My tires are really old and need to be changed.
