'99 S70 T-5 35 mpg S70

Just a note here. This weekend I took a trip to northern Wisconsin and decided to check my gas mileage. The trip one way was about 340 miles. On the way up I got 33 mpg all highway and on the way back I got 35 mpg.No air conditioning ran as it was cool outside.I did everything right as far as I can tell as topping off the gas tank etc.I was rather surprised at my findings.Anybody else get the same highway mileage? I been toying around with the idea of a new S60 T-5 and with the better engine management system I wonder if the highway mileage would be even better considering the S60 is more aerodynamic than the S70?
Any thoughts/input would be appreciated.
