XC70 Starting problems V70-XC70 2000

I just bought a 2000 xc70 wagon, at times it is just hard to start. Priming it with a few ounces of fuel wil make fire.
After, minutes of turning the engine over, it will start and run perfectly.
Last saturday, I drove it to 130km/hr and it was perfect.
I did check the fuel pump relay, cleaned the relay contacts. No change.
Also, I have a 1991 740 turbo and a 1987 780. The latter have a check valve, and I wonder if this vehicle has the same.
I am wondering if it is loosing fuel pressure while the engine is shut off.

Has anyone got any ideas on this?
