instrument panel lights V70-XC70 2001

Fred, I'm sorry for my terminolgy. I called it an environmental module for lack of a better word. I was referring to the enire section that's located below the radio and above the pin holder. That whole section can be pulled out once the 2 screws at the bottom are removed. One more word of caution, the fan speed and temperature knobs are easily scratched, so use a towel to place it on when you turn it over for accessing the bulbs. I've found that patience is important to prevent damage when working around these things, so don't get frustrated when they don't snap in and out easily. It will go back in easier than the removal process. Trust me, your efforts will be appreciated when you can see the temperature settings at night once again.

Take care,
Wayne
