Stuck on CV Boot Replacement, how to remove caliper w/out disassembly? S70 1998

I am in the middle of following the instructions on Bay13 (Volvospeed) and it says to take out the two retaining bolts and remove caliper and hang on strut.

I got the two bolts out but can't figure out how to release the pressure on the pads so that the caliper assembly will slide off the disk.

Can I do this without any further disassembly?

Can anyone out there give me a quick tip?

(you can probably tell -- I have never changed by pads/rotar DIY before)

Thanks, Calvin
