Thanks for the suggestions Klaus. For fun i pulled the plugs and moved them around. The plugs looked pretty clean (about 40k miles on the current set). Put it back together and the car seems to be fine. I never had a chance to check the codes. Maybe a loose ignition wire was the cause?
