Klaus: Thank you so much for responding. I was beginning to feel invisible. I understand about not much info on the 08. We had a transportation melt down in our family and my trusty '92 240 had to go to my daughter. Volvo had a great lease deal on the XC 08 that was the same as leasing or buying on 04 so I took it. I wonder if the Volvo cpu is a shared item with the mercedes. I shall look into it.
