V70, 2004 Tranmission Shifting/ Fluid Level V70-XC70

Follow-up to my June24 posting:
Howard I appreciate the feedback and will have the software checked. No problems for the past month. I tried to get the link you mention on freeweb, but could not get it.
Therefore
I open this up to all responders: "When checking the Tranmission Fluid Level, for the 2004 V70 and 2003 XC, I have done it after highway driving (hot) with the transmission in park and the engine running.
Will this produce the correct level indication or what has changed that I am not aware of???????
