One of two things.
First, check the door latch area. Close the door with the key in posII and after the chimes stop, give the door a good bang close to the latch with your closed fist or elbow. If it starts chiming, you need to tighten the latch on the striker plate - just move it inboard about 1/8th of an inch.

Second, is the overhead light area. After closing the door, tap the dome light to see if there is something loose. Pleas don't break the plastic :)

The micro switch in the door latch can be inspected visually when the door is opened. Just push the small black rectangular metal piece toward the outside and the noise and light should turn off. Before you try to close the door, pull on the door handle to release the catch and switch.
