A/C Quick connect tool use, between drier and evaporator 850

NO! Remove the bracket that holds the Accumulator/Receiver/Drier and then remove the accumulator from the line, don't try to remove the line from the accumulator. The line extends into the accumulator for a couple of inches or more and it has O rings on it. It puts up a fair amount of resistance.

It helped me when I had my son hold the line while I worked the accumulator off.

Your next challenge will be getting the nut loose on the hose. I found that job best done by removing the lower splash guard and going after it from below the car.
