I had a thread a few weeks ago regarding a problem with the driver's side window operation, in the V70 section, in which I included a reference to an excellent mini-manual on door panel removal. This was accessed through VolvoSpeed's Bay 13, but it has since been deleted (?). I kept a copy of the file, which I'll presume to forward to you via e-mail - I'm not certain if I can attach it satisfactorily to this thread. I included a few tips on replacing the panel after the repair in my thread as well, which you might find helpful.
