Odd ignition locking problem - anti-theft related S70

Howdy all,

I have been experiencing the ignition lock issue, what appears to be happening is if I used the truck button or the lock unlock in a certain fashion that I have not figured out the sequence yet my ignition locks. I unlock the ignition by opening the door, locking it with the key fob and and unlocking it again, sometimes I have to open and close the trunk. Another item that is anti-theft related is it intermittently does the start and stall routine and when I go to restart everything is fine, I have read on other boards that this is related to the chip in the key and antenna.

Is all of this related?

The diagnostic system did pull a 1670 code once as well.
