You are not alone V70-XC70 1999

It was a surprising experience, but luckily I was in a place where I only had to go over one lane to find the shoulder.

I was also surprised there was no error code. I scanned it several times, after attempting to restart the car after 10 min, then later after about 30 min. Still no code, still no go.

Could a fuel filter clog really cut the engine out so cleanly? I would have expected it to make things sluggish first, like running out of gas.
