Starting Problems already 850

Good morning. You don't need to start the car to clear the codes. Just the key in pos II.
Go through all of the "A" slots and clear all of the codes you can. Those that remain are "real" and will point you to the problem.
Follow the same procedure for the "B" box.

Volvo used to publish a Pocket Data Booklet, which I have ($20) and lists all possible codes from all slots. It does not show how to fix the problem...

As for your car not starting, is it not turning over or not firing? If it is not turning over, take off the red wire to the battery and clean the ends with a wire brush. Remove all of the white residue and clean the post before reassembling.
