Perplexing Drained Battery Issue - HELP!!

Your alternator should be putting out at least 14.5V at the battery. The .03amp draw is normal after shutdown.
Verify that the cabin fan is not running because of the AC having been on. The newer models do that to keep the condensation from ruining the evap.
Even a new battery needs to be trickle charged to attain full charge status, usually about 24 hours.
I would guess your new battery has never been at a full charge.

Your wife would like the BMW 5 wagon, but there is so little storage space in the back and the seats are not as comfortable. Plus, they go through water pumps every 50K miles or less.
