Flashing Arrow - Automatic Gearbox Fault S70 2000

I'll assume you know how to enter "W" mode by pushing the button on the consol. Instead of a "D" displayed on the dash (or a drive number if being driven manually), it will display a "W". The button's light will also be lit. As KlausC explained, the "W" mode will start the car in 3rd gear which will result in the torque converter being used until up to 3rd gear speed. A big waste of energy efficency instead of being locked up in gear, but can be useful in very special (slippery) conditions on rare occasion.
