Car rolls when put in park 93 850..please help

I am in the process of replacing my transmission and noticed that when i sat the jack down that the car just kept rolling backwards. could I be replacing my transmission for the wrong reason. anybody know what this could be. i replaced my pnp to check if that was the root of my problem but everything was the same. i just find it odd that the car is rolling without having anything disconnected. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
