'01 S60 Electrical Problems S60 2001

Car died and no power anywhere. While replacing 7 year old battery, noted that lights came on when moving negative connection. Cleaned posts & connectors, replaced battery. Car started, all electronics worked except sunroof and interior door lock switch. Cycling door locks from outside with fob seemed to solve problems: interior door lock switch worked and sunroof closed. Car started and worked fine Wednesday morning then Wednesday evening it wouldn't start again. Lights come on, but when switch turned to "start" position there is only a click. Clutch fully depressed, transmission in gear, still no start. Removing and replacing battery cables triggers the alarm, but still won't start. Any ideas that will help keep from hauling this car 100 miles to the dealer (Borton)? Car is in Austin, Mn. Thanks.
Marlin
